Channel 5 commissions Tales from the Riverbank with Clare Balding and Dorset: Country and Coast

Channel 5 has commissioned two six-part series from Twofour – Tales from the Riverbank with Clare Balding and Dorset: Country and Coast. Tales from the Riverbank with Clare Balding (6 x 60′), tells the stories of Britain’s most iconic rivers, looking into the glorious sights and sounds of the river and its inhabitants. From the wildlife that call it home to the folk who live and work on the riverbank, to the many day trippers and pleasure seekers enjoying its waters. Along the way, Clare will stop off at some of its most famous landmarks and attractions as well as sampling plenty of local delicacies.

On Channel 5 next week (tx: Wednesday 26th July, 8pm) Dorset: Country and Coast  (6 x 60′) takes viewers on a jaunt around this charming part of southwest England, narrated by Alan Titchmarsh. The series will take an indulgent stroll through Dorset’s most familiar sites, uncover lesser-known hidden gems, and examine daily Dorset life, immersing viewers into the sights, sounds and tastes of the region.

The series have both been commissioned by Lucy Willis, Commissioning Editor, Non-Scripted, Channel 5/Paramount+.

The Executive Producer for Tales from the Riverbank is Rachel Innes-Lumsden and the Series Producer/Director is Chris Williams. The Production Executive is Katie Truen-Bell.
An airdate is yet to be confirmed.

The Executive Producer for Dorset: Country and Coast is Neil Edwards and the Series Producer is Linda Parkhurst. The Production Executive is Katie Truen-Bell.  This series will launch on Wednesday 26th July at 8pm on Channel 5.
