I Kissed a Girl wins ‘media moment of the year’ at DIVA Awards 2025

I Kissed a Girl, the UK’s pioneering dating show for girls who like girls, has triumphed at the 2025 DIVA Awards, taking home the prestigious “Media Moment of the Year” Award. The award celebrates the series’ powerful contribution to LGBTQIA+ representation and visibility in mainstream television.

The acclaimed show follows a group of queer women as they embark on their search for love in a stunning Italian masseria. Hosted by Dannii Minogue – AKA Cupid – and voiced by comedian Charley Marlowe, the series earned critical acclaim for its inclusive casting, authentic storytelling, and celebratory tone.

Dannii Minogue received additional recognition with a nomination for “Celebrity Ally of the Year,” honoring her dedicated advocacy role. Speaking to DIVA magazine, Dannii reflected on the importance of allyship: “[Allyship means] making sure you always show up for someone and stand up for someone.”
